Crystal Cherries opens with a concentrated cherry impression shaped by black cherry, cherry liqueur and bitter almond. Instead of remaining purely syrupy or dessert-like, saffron introduces a warmer, slightly metallic and leathery edge that immediately connects the fruit to Baccarat Rouge 540's more mineral character.

As the fragrance develops, jasmine becomes an important bridge between the two compositions. Baccarat Rouge 540 contributes an airy floral radiance, while Lost Cherry brings jasmine sambac and rose into the richer cherry accord. The result is sweet and floral without losing the transparent quality that makes the Baccarat Rouge 540 side recognizable.

The drydown becomes warmer and woodier. Mineral amber, dry woods and ethyl maltol blend with roasted tonka, Peru balsam, sandalwood, vetiver and cedarwood. Cherry remains present, but the later stages feel smoother, deeper and more ambered than the initial fruity opening.
